Today (20 November) at 1 pm, UK time, the first meeting of Arakan Rohingya National Alliance (ARNA) will be held virtually.
“After a series of consultations among the Rohingya senior leaders, credible politicians, activists and well-wishers, we have successfully formed a political alliance, named the Arakan Rohingya National Alliance (ARNA), as the sole representative organisation of the Rohingya people.” a Rohingya activist said.
The activist elaborated that the serious deteriorating situation of the Rohingya people and the current crisis situation in Myanmar call for a unified Rohingya political platform to effectively represent the whole Rohingya people, their cause and case the world over, as well as to protect and promote their legitimate interests. Further details will be discussed today during the virtual launching of ARNA.
