Civilians, including children, were reportedly injured in Myanmar military airstrikes on Kyauktaw Township early on September 25.
A local media report said the strikes hit Pyidawtha Ward and nearby Paik Thei and Nidin villages between about 2:00 a.m. and 2:45 a.m. It reported that a Y-12 aircraft dropped nearly 30 bombs. Rohingya Khobor has not independently verified those details.
The report put the number of injured at seven, but the names it listed add up to eight. A separate list of five reportedly injured Rohingya residents supplied to Rohingya Khobor also differs from the published list. The casualty count and identities remain unconfirmed.
