On Wednesday afternoon two death bodies were seen floating on the bank of Naf river in Hnila Jadi Mura of Teknaf. On the information police came and recovered the bodies in sacks. The corpses were bloating. It is believed that two bodies were dumped in the river after being killed 2-3 days ago.
The near by Rohingyas identified the bodies as Mohammad Salam (27), son of Mohammad Nabi of Nayapara Registered Camp and Shafiullah (35), son of Harun Rashid of Leda Camp H-3.
Mohammad Salam’s wife Rabia Begum said that her husband left home 12 days ago and did not return. One of the two bodies found in the Naf River was her husband Mohammad Salam.
The reason behind killing yet to be known.
The bodies have been sent to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy. And police is trying to find the killers.
