Cox’s Bazar, 3 September 2026: An eight-year-old Rohingya boy died after falling from a hilly area in Camp 14, Hakimpara, in Ukhiya on Thursday, according to local sources.
The child was identified as Arman Sha, son of Md Solim and Fatema.
The incident reportedly occurred in Block E/03 of Camp 14 on 3 September.
Local sources told Rohingya Khobor that Arman fell while moving through a hilly area of the camp and later died from his injuries.
Further details about the circumstances of the fall and whether he received medical treatment before his death were not immediately available.
