Dhaka: On Tuesday (October 25) the Iranian ambassador to Bangladesh Mansour Chavoshi told Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina that Iran will support Bangladesh in ensuring safe and dignified Rohingya repatriation to Myanmar.
Mansour said this during discussion with PM Hasina at her official residence Ganabhaban on Tuesday morning.
Prime Minister’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim briefed the reporters after the meeting.
The Ambassador appreciated the Bangladesh government and its people which have sheltered displaced Rohingyas on humanitarian grounds.
