Army arrested at least five Rohingyas from the Nayapara area of Maungdaw town arresting at least five men on terror allegations, reports our local correspondent.
The raids took place at around 8am on Tuesday.
Those arrested are being tortured in the nearby military camp, according to local sources.
Torture continues to be a common practise against Rohingya prisoners with hundreds dead, especially since 2012.
A tense atmosphere is currently prevailing in the area as locals brace for more raids.
