On Thursday around 8 pm, some masked gunmen shot four Rohingyas leaving them with severe injuries at Balukhali camp 8 East in Ukhiya.
The injured are, Md. Salam (32), Md. Shafi (63), Md. Sharif (55) and Md. Nasser (10). All of them are residents of different blocks of Ukhiya Camp-8 East.
Confirming the matter, Assistant Superintendent of Police (Ops and Media) of 8 APBN Farooq Ahmed said, “Four Rohingyas were injured in the firing of masked terrorists in the camp. They were rescued and sent to Ukhia Hospital.”
The reason behind the incident has not produced yet. The operation to catch the gunmen involved in this incident is underway.
