Missing Rohingya Child Found in Refugee Camp, Family Search Ongoing

The child’s father’s name is Solim, and her mother’s name is Shafika. A local landmark connected to the family is Nurul Islam from Camp-14.

Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh | 15 May 2026

A missing Rohingya child was found in a shelter at Block D03 of the refugee camp at around 4:00 PM on Thursday.

The child, identified as Juhara, is about 8 years old. According to local sources, she is facing mental health challenges and is unable to speak clearly or provide proper information about her family or home address.

The child’s father’s name is Solim and her mother’s name is Shafika. A local landmark connected to the family is Nurul Islam from Camp-14.

She is currently staying at Block D03, HHN-480, under Majhi Mahabur Rahaman while efforts continue to find her family members.

Camp residents and volunteers are requesting everyone to share the information to help reunite the child with her family as soon as possible.
