Maungdaw- A Rohingya villager was killed by unidentified assailants in Shwe Zarr, Maungdaw South on Friday.
Abul Nasir (s/o Yasin) was taken away from the Guinna Para hamlet by the attackers at late night. Later his body was recovered from a muddy tract near the village. The corpse had multiple cuts from sharp weapons in the stomach, back and upper body area.
Police has taken the corpse to the Maungdaw morgue for autopsy.
