Myanmar warplanes exercise on Bangladesh border

Bandarban: On Thursday late night Myanmar warplanes were seen conducting exercises three times in a row on the Bangladesh border at 4 km area and returned toward Maungdaw, according to locals.

“In this way, the plane went around 4 times in a row, but due to the late night, many of the general people came out of their houses to see it,” the locals said.

Ranjit Barua, Chowkidar of Ward No. 6 of Ghumdhum Union Parishad, said that he heard the sound of the war plane at 12:18 on Thursday night and came out of the house and saw that the plane was heading towards Myanmar.

ANSAR VDP members of Tambru middle neighborhood said that at around 12:30 am the Myanmar warplane returned to Balibazar of Maungdaw through pillar no, 38 to the Bangladesh border after dropping three bombs.

On the other hand, Rohingya Jalil Miah and Abdul Majed from zero line said that on Friday afternoon, the sounds of small arms were heard in the Saheb Bazar area at night and in the morning, approximately a few kilometers from the Bangladesh border area inside Myanmar. The exact details of the casualties there have not known yet.
