Recently there were many posts and rumours on social media about the health of Mr Nurul Islam, chairman of the Arakan Rohingya National Organisation (ARNO) stating that he was very sick and at high risk.

RK team has contacted Mr Nurul Islam and can confirm he is in good condition and healthy.

lately, Mr Nurul Islam’s kidney condition has deteriorated and as such he was invited to the hospital for an operation. But, the operation was not necessary and he has returned to his home.

Mr Nurul Islam has conveyed Salaam and gratitude to all. He said, “By Allah’s grace, I am in good health condition and I will keep struggling for my people till my last breath.” He further said, “I pray from my bottom of heart for all my people and hope to see the smile in every Rohingya man, woman, young and old and to regain our collective and individual rights.”
Finally he thanks again to all who prayed and who was worried for him and invited all to join hand in hand with him and be part of ARNO.
