Rakhine Mobs attempted to kill A Rohingya Village Administrator of Mrauk U

On 17th June 2019 Monday, a Rohingya village administrator named Haniba (40) son of Abul Khair resides from Younkrin village of Mrauk U was attempted to kill by two Rakhine extremists nearby a tea stall at Younkrin village, Mrauk U.

Earlier that day, the victim had an anonymous phone call asking about his whereabouts. eventually, two unidentified Rakhine extremists arrived on a motorcycle and one of them shot two rounds of bullet targeting the village administrator. Luckily, it was a miss fire and Haniba was safe.

The two mobsters ran away from the scene before government security forces’ arrival.
