On Friday (10 February) evening the immigration police detained a Rohingya man namely Asad Ullah while he was boarding on flight BG 135 for Saudi Arabia in Shah Amanat Airport Chittagong.
According to Immigration source, the immigration police arrested Asad on the information of Detective Branch that Asad was accused of several cases at Cox’s Bazar Ukhiya police station. After arrest and primary interrogation, the immigration police handed him over to DB.
On Saturday, he will be sent to Cox’s Bazar district police.
