Maungdaw- Tatmadaw forces suddenly entered Taimbru, and launched a house to house raid, causing terror among locals.
The forces entered the northern Maungdaw village tract at around 6am on Sunday and said they were searching for terrorists who had supposedly taken shelter in the neighbourhood of Quail Shi Meji. They however went away without making any arrests.
Locals however fear it is only a matter of time before the Tatmadaw acts on such accusations to commit mass atrocities against the populace of the village.
