The Republic of Korea has donated $700,000 to the International Federation of Red Cross (IFRC) to carry on its humanitarian activities in the Rohingya refugee camps and host community in Cox’s Bazar.

The Korean embassy in a press release on Monday stated, “The Republic of Korea has been working closely with the international community in addressing the Rohingya humanitarian crisis since 2017. In particular, the Republic of Korea has been supporting IFRC’s Emergency Appeal and Emergency Plan of Action for Population Movement Operation in Cox’s Bazar. This year again, the Republic of Korea will provide IFRC with 700,000 US dollars for its activities in Cox’s Bazar.”
