3 Rohingya poets, Abdullah Habib, Shahida Win and Ayala Akter participated 10th edition of the Dhaka Lit Fest, featured poetry and artwork by Rohingya refugees on 6 January 2023.
This session was moderated by Shahirah Majumder with Abdullah Habib, Shahida Win, and Aylah Akhter as guests. guests. All three of them are refugees of the Mayanmar crisis, currently residing in the Cox’s Bazar Rohingya camp.
They all expressed together desire to return home at discussion of Dhaka Lit Fest.
“We were invited as a poets and artists at there. How we show the world about our suffering through art and poetry? We gave a strong to the world that we are here to representative ourselves on behalf of Rohingya Rohingya Community, we have voices to share ourselves,” said Abdullah Habib, a poet and photographer.
