On the evening of 11 January 2021, a group of Rakhines attacked a Rohingya villager by sharp tools in Minbya Township, Rakhine State.
The victim is identified as U Mohammad Shaker (b) Abu Sayyad, 35, a resident of the Nagara village (a Rohingya village). According to a villager, Maung Shew Thein and some of his accomplices from Latma Rakhine village attacked U Mohammad Shaker while he was sleeping.
