On Saturday late night, Armed Police Battalion (APBn) arrested a Rohingya youth with armed weapons from Tajnimarkhola Rohingya camp-13 in Ukhiya.
The detainee is Md Rahim Ullah (30), son of Sayed Ahmed, resident of Tajnimarkhola Rohingya camp-13.
Assistant Superintendent of Police (Operation and Media) of Ukhia 8 APBN, Farooq Ahmed said that the location of an armed Rohingya in the Tajnimarkhola Rohingya camp was confirmed by secret information and the operation was conducted under the guidance of 8 APBN captain Additional DIG Amir Zafar.
At this time, Rahim Ullah was detained with a one gun and a round of bullets.
In this regard, the arrested person has been handed over to Ukhia police station after General Diary (GD) at Tajnimarkhola police camp. A case has been registered against him under the Arms Act.
