Yesterday, the Arakan Rohingya National Organization (ARNO) has issued a statement debunking against a report that Myanmar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs released on 8th January 2020. The report titles “Rakhine State: A Snapshot of Myanmar’s current efforts for peace and reconciliation”.
ARNO states that Myanmar’s Child Right law doesn’t even include or recognize Rohingya children and the educational measure do not include Rohingya children.
The statement that says Myanmar has done nothing to address the systemic sexual violence that is perpetrated by the Military (Tatmadaw) in 2017 against Rohingya.
Lastly, ARNO asked the Myanmar government to repatriate the Rohingya refugees to their place of origin and called upon the Myanmar government to stop fallacious reporting which misleads the international community about the present Rakhine state of affairs.
