BGB arrested three Rohingyas including an infant on 8th February 2021 from Deshma village in Birampur Upazila under Dinajpur district of Bangladesh while they were travelling around the border.
The arrestees have been identified as Mojibar Rahman (27), his wife Sadekun Nahar (23), and their son Rahmat Hossain (05).
The villagers noticed the arrested Rohingyas and informed the matter to ward member Maskuda Begum.
Being informed the matter, Maskuda Begum, a ward member under Benail union went to Deshma village and after interrogation, she handed over them to BGB. The detained are believed they are from Rohingya refugee camp of Cox’s Bazar.
