Devastated makeshift; heavy rain pounds at Unciparang Refugee Camp

On Friday morning, a Rohingya makeshift of Block -D, Camp-22 at Unciparang Refugee camp has been devastated due to heavy thunderstorm, marking the start of monsoon season.

The inhabitants of the following makeshift was a widow and her child. The gusty thunderstorm destroyed her only refuge place.

Also last night around 12:00 pm a mosque at Hakimpara block 15, Thankhali was damaged by the heavy rainfall.

Last year on June 11th, a two day long Torrential rain swept away almost all the Rohingya refugee settlements in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.
