Today at around 10:30 pm, Myanmar military troops burned down houses at Thabeik Taung village of southern Buthidaung, according to locals while the military warned Rohingyas to remain away from Arakan Army.

Due to heavy clashes, how many houses burned down is not known.

“At about 8:30 p.m., Myanmar Army troops with full military weapons left the village of Si Ning Pya, and there are activities in the vicinity.” According to local residents, the Khing Chaung police base has been heavily manned and there may be about 250 Burmese military forces.

“Similarly, the Rohingya villages in the vicinity of Nakhon (8th) Police Battalion and King Chuang Police Outpost have been threatened with effective punishment if Rakhine Army forces enter the village or if found to be supporting them,” a Rohingya said to Rohingya Khobor (RK) under anonymity.

Another Rohingya from Buthidaung said that Rohingyas in Rakhine state are under hostage of both military council and AA. If they (Rohingya) follow the military council, AA will become a bad master to them. And if they follow AA, the military will become a bad master too to Rohingyas. As a result Both AA and military council make Rohingya village as their battle field. Today’s injuries Rohingya received is crystal example.
