Myanmar military arrests 9 Rohingya in Pauk Taw township, Rakhine State

On 23 June, the joint investigation team arrested nine Rohingyas. They have also seized 100 bags of rice. The rice bags had the label World food program (WFP). Besides, there were 600 bottles of cooking oil (3 litres), 20 bags of peas and over 87 lakh Kyats, according to Rakhine state Government News.

The arrested persons were from Pauk Taw township and they are now in the custody of the Sittwe City Police station.
