Today, a Rohingya youth was arrested with weapon and bullets at Nayapara Rohingya refugee camp in Teknaf, Cox’s Bazar.
The detainee, Akhtar Faruk, age 20, a resident from B Block in the Nayapara Mochni Rohingya Camp was caught by Police said Teknaf Model police station Officer-in-Charge (OC), Abdul Halim.
The OC also added that, on Sunday night, a team of Police raided Nayapara Mochani Rohingya camp and encountered Faruk with a weapon and bullets.
The OC said that preparations are underway to send the detained youth to Cox’s Bazar jail by filing a case under the Arms Act.
