On 20 October, the Rohingya Youth Association (RYA) started a blood donation campaign in social media with the slogan – “Your health and well-being is our responsibility.”
RYA initiated this campaign in response to the dire need for blood donation in the refugee camps and accordingly they have created an online group to enlist all the blood donors within the Rohingya refugees and to respond promptly for any query.
Faisal Khan, campaign manager for RYA’s blood donation campaign, said,” We request all our young and healthy brothers to join this campaign. So we can support ourselves and, we can help each other. He has further urged anyone in the refugee camp who needs blood to contact him or his organisation through their campaign page.”
