On Thursday 25, June around 5:10 pm a truck accident took place in the Thaying Khali Rohingya refugee camp. The accident happened when an IOM gas carrying truck was driving on a newly constructed road and hit an elderly Rohingya who was sitting nearby the road.
The injured person name is Mr Fozol Koriam, the son of Mr Amir Husson, 57 years old residing in camp-13, block A-1 shelter.
According to an eyewitness, the victim was seriously injured in his backbone and was unable to walk. He was carried by other refugees to his shelter.
Another refugee said as the truck driver run away now, who will be responsible for this 57-year-old man’s treatment.
