Yesterday, at the 43rd HRC session in Geneva an HRC resolution was taken denouncing the continuation of violations against rights of Rohingya and other minorities in Myanmar. The resolution was welcomed by the Secretariat General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
The HRC urged to end all violations of the International law to all parties specifically the military and security forces in Myanmar. By welcoming the International Court of Justice’s decision on January 23rd, 2020, HRC urged the government of Myanmar to take all measures to prevent all acts of violence and genocide.
