Cox’s Bazar: On Saturday (October 15) around 6 pm, some miscreants wearing masks stabbed two Rohingya mazees in front of a shop at block A18 in camp 19 of Ukhiya. One died on the spot while another one breathed last in MSF hospital during treatment.

The deceased who breathed last on the spot is Mv, Mohammed Younus (38) son of Sayed Kasim resident of block F2, camp 13, and who died during treatment is Mohammed Anowar (38) son of late, Nur Mohammed resident of block-F.

The locals said that some 15/20 masked miscreants equipped with sharp weapons attacked the mazees and stabbed them to death. After completion of killing mission, the attackers left the scene. No one knows the reason behind the killing.

It is to be noted that around 1:30 am on October 3, there was a gun battle between the APBN police and an armed group of Rohingya terrorists in the H/52 block of Camp No. 18 of Ukhia. In this incident, a Rohingya child named Tasfia Akhtar (11) was killed and another Rohingya woman was shot dead in the incident.

The Rohingyas said that millions of general Rohingyas are suffering from insecurity in the refugee camps due to the continued murder inside camp.
