RB Hafizu

I’m Hafizur Rahman (RB Hafizu), a Rohingya professional interpreter, writer, journalist, human rights defender, photographer, videographer, video editor, and graphic designer based in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. My work focuses on storytelling, communication, documentation, and creating meaningful visual content that brings people’s experiences and voices to wider audiences. I currently work as a Writer at Rohingya Khobor, where I write and edit news and stories about the Rohingya community. I also serve as a Tarjimly volunteer interpreter, providing language support in Rohingya, Rohingyalish, Hanifi, Bangla, and English. Through my humanitarian and community work, I have developed strong skills in communication, interpretation, documentation, journalism, and working with diverse communities. As a visual storyteller, I have created hundreds of video contents, including more than 200 news-related videos, covering community stories, humanitarian issues, events, interviews, and everyday life. I use tools including Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut Pro, Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, VN, and InShot to produce videos, graphics, photographs, and digital content. Photography and videography are central to my storytelling. I document Rohingya life, struggles, resilience, culture, and hope, believing that powerful visuals can communicate emotions and stories that words sometimes cannot. I am passionate about digital storytelling and content creation for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and podcast platforms. I pay close attention to detail, visual presentation, storytelling, and audience engagement. My goal is not only to create attractive content but also to communicate messages clearly and leave a meaningful impact. My experience in humanitarian work, journalism, interpretation, photography, and digital media allows me to combine different skills to tell stories from a community perspective. I continuously develop my skills and stay updated with new approaches in media, design, editing, journalism, and communication. My portfolio includes work with Rohingyatographer, Rohingya Human Rights Network, ASAN TV, and Rohingya Khobor, showcasing my experience in photography, video production, graphic design, journalism, and community storytelling. I am open to new opportunities, collaborations, and creative projects where I can use my skills to communicate important ideas, document real stories, and bring people’s voices and experiences to life.
