Yangon: On Sunday (13 November) the Mingaladon police detained nine Rohingyas including four young girls from intersection of Pulay road in Thingankyun village area while they were waiting for a taxi.

According to sources, the detainees have been taken to Mingaladon police station. The Police is investigating the case under Section 6 (2) / 6 (3) of the Resident Registration Act of 1949.

Hearing the news, a Rohingya from camp 26 said that Rohingyas who are in both Myanmar and Bangladesh have no certain ways to establish their future. They are fully unable to cross the border legally, like other people in the world. And so, they are trying themselves to find out a better life, though they have to face life risk.

The Rohingyas would like to humbly urge the International Community to take necessary steps for solving the long pending Rohingya issue, before they become further victims of life to terror.
